Snow flurries, unseasonably cold temperatures Friday

Snow flurries could make the Friday morning commute slick for metro-east residents.

But little if any., accumulation is expected before the flurries break up around 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

After that, skies will become partly sunny with a high temperature of 44. That’s 17 degrees cooler than the normal high of 61 for March 27 in the St. Louis area.

Overnight, skies will become increasingly cloudy with a low of 26.

It will be partly sunny with a high of 45 and a low of 30 on Saturday.

On Sunday, temperatures will warm up closer to the normal high for this time of year at 58. But a 40 percent chance of showers could prevent people from getting out and enjoying the day.

Sunday night the low will be 38.
