It’s spring: Temps near 70, slight chance of rain as week goes on

Temperatures are expected to peak in the high 60s to the low 70s for the next few days while a chance of rain will linger over the area.

Partly sunny skies are expected Tuesday in the metro-east. The high temperature will be 68, according to the National Weather service.

A 20 percent chance of showers is in the forecast for Tuesday night when the low will be 48.

The chance of showers will bump up to 30 percent during the day Wednesday when the high will be 68, and 40 percent Wednesday night when the low will be 54.

On Thursday, a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast with a high of 74, with the low dropping to 56 overnight.
