Woman pointed gun at girlfriend in Shiloh store, police say

Police were searching Friday for a 27-year-old woman accused of pointing a gun at her girlfriend during an argument Jan. 31 at a Cricket store in Shiloh.

Belleville resident Brittney A. Tillman reportedly went into the Cricket store on Green Mount Crossing Drive to confront her girlfriend, who works at the store. Tillman reportedly pointed a gun and battered the woman, according to a news release from the Shiloh Police Department.

She took off before officers arrived at about 6:19 p.m., the release stated. The Cricket employee was unharmed and did not need medical treatment.

Tillman’s bail was set at $40,000. She was not in custody as of Friday morning, according to police.

She is facing charges of aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and domestic battery.
