Police find and arrest escaped inmate

A prison inmate who walked away from a worksite Feb. 13 is now in custody, according to police.

Jacob Dylan Martin, 22, was chased down and arrested Sunday morning by officers in Eureka, Missouri near Interstate 44 and Six Flags Road, according to a KFVS 12 report.

Martin is serving a five-year sentence in minimum security at Potosi Correctional Center in Washington County, Missouri. At about 10:15 a.m. Feb. 13, Martin was on work release at a worksite about 18 miles south of Patton, Missouri when he reportedly walked away from the site.
