St. Louis' biggest landmark got a new name Thursday as President Donald Trump signed a bill that renamed what was officially known as the "Jefferson National Expansion Memorial."
Going forward, the iconic Arch and surrounding grounds will be known as the "Gateway Arch National Park."
U.S. Sens. Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill, a Republican and Democrat from Missouri, introduced the bill, S. 1438, in December.
The bill was passed Feb. 7 and presented to Trump on Feb. 12.
