Crews from Church Road, Camp Jackson, and Alorton fought a structure fire on Wednesday morning. The cause of the fire was not immediately released.

Fire crews responded to a vacant structure fire that started Wednesday morning in Alorton.

The vacant structure was located at 4224 Mc Casland Ave.

Crews from Camp Jackson, Church Road and Alorton worked to put the fire out.

No on was injured during the fire.

The Alorton fire chief did not immediately respond to request for more information.

Code Enforcement Chief Anthony LeFlores said there were no utilities hooked up at the “derelict” vacant home.
