Police said they are looking for the suspect, a man the victim said he does not know.

▪ A Granite City woman has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for murder after she stabbed a person to death at a Madison County gas station.
Breanna Maldonado, 21, was riding in a car with three people in October 2013. They were stopped at the gas station at about 1:30 a.m. when an argument broke between the group and the occupants of another car. Kaitlin Juenger was stabbed in the chest and died.
▪ A Highland woman has pleaded guilty to stealing money that was intended to help needy families.
Amy Mueller, 40, stole nearly $160,000 when she worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services, according to court records. She used the money for things like trips to a nail salon and tanning parlor, eating in restaurants and taking vacations.
She created fake benefit accounts using clients’ information then made cash withdraws to get the money.
