More rain is in store for the last day of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, with the chance of rain dropping as the evening hours (and fireworks shows ) arrive.
There’s a 70 percent chance of rain before 4 p.m. Monday, with the likelihood of isolated showers falling to 40 percent this evening, according to the National Weather Service. A flash flood watch remains in effect for the region, ending at noon Monday.
Temperatures will top out at 82 Monday, dropping to 69 over night before jumping to 91 on Tuesday. The low Tuesday will be 75, with a 20 percent chance of rain during the day.
Wednesday will see a high of 93 with a 40 percent chance of rain, with a low of 40 overnight.
Thursday’s forecast: A high of 94 with a 30 percent of rain, with a low of 76 that night.
