Authorities put out an endangered-person advisory for a 2-year-old boy early Friday morning.

The St. Louis County Police Department identified the boy as Deantre Diamond. Diamond was last seen when he was picked up by his grandparents the morning of Aug. 25 at the 10000 block of Castle Drive in north St. Louis County.

Police said the boy’s grandparents, Kiana Moore, 35, and Deandre Trotter, 38, were expected to return the boy back to his mother on Aug. 28, but they never arrived.

Diamond was described as a black male, 3 feet tall, 29 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion. The boy was last seen wearing gray pajamas.

Police said the grandparents may be living out of their vehicle, a Chevrolet Suburban with Missouri temporary plates.

Police asked anyone with information to call the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
