Boys Scouts learn pizza business

Highland Little Caesars hosted Boy Scout Troop 1040 for its Feb. 23 meeting, and the boys learned how to make a HOT-N-READY pizza.

Bab Njai, Highland Little Caesars franchise owner, hosted the boys at his store. Njai gave them a tour of the store, explained how he came into owning his first Little Caesars and showed everyone how to make a pizza from start to finish. This included making dough, sheeting out the dough and dressing the pizza. Each Boy Scout was able to make his own large pizza with toppings of their choice to take home with them. The boys had a great time.

Little Caesars has helped sponsor the troop in the past, but this was the first time that Troop 1040 had participated in this kind of activity. The troop has 27 boy scouts ranging from ages 11-18 years old. Support from local businesses helps to their fund programs and in some situations allow the Boy Scouts to earn merit badges and rank advancements.
