Weight Watchers has announced the opening of two new meetings in Highland.
One new meeting opens on Thursday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m., and the second will be on Saturday, March 28 at 8 a.m. Both will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Illinois Route 143 in Highland.
“At Weight Watchers, we recognize that food is only one part of the weight-loss equation. Activity, healthy habits, support and smart food choices are also components that can lead to real, lasting success,” said Kim Tierney, territory manager for Weight Watchers. “We are excited about this new meeting location and new day/times opening in Highland and look forward to helping local residents reach their weight loss goals.”
Local Weight Watchers leader Elizabeth O’Dell will welcome members and visitors to learn all about a straightforward, plan that makes Weight Watchers simpler than ever to follow. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting for free and experience a Weight Watchers meeting firsthand.
O’Dell, like all of Weight Watchers leaders, lost weight following the Weight Watchers program. Her weight loss of 175 pounds allows her to truly understand the challenges and celebrations involved in making the commitment to lose weight.
“Weight Watchers is designed to teach you the fundamentals of weight loss and beyond,” she said. “The program and the support are designed to help you stick to your weight loss efforts, all the way to goal.”
