The fund also supports area youth programs. This year, a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go to HART (Highland Area Resource Team), a non-profit organization devoted to supporting those facing obstacles in their lives.

Cost is $60 per four-person team. You can register by contacting Gail Holthaus via Facebook, emailing gmholthaus@charter.net or calling 654-2100 and leaving a message. Information needed includes team name, players names and T-shirt sizes. Players under 17 need parental permission forms. Entry deadline is Friday, July 31.

Organizers of the event are also currently looking for sponsors. All donations of $100 or more will receive signage with a logo at the derby, as well as food and drink.
