Suzanne M. Mosby-Hamm, 60, of Pocahontas died Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 and again from 8 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27 at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27 the funeral home, with Father Pat G. Jakel, pastor of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Grantfork, officiating. Burial will be in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery in Grantfork.
She was born on Saturday, May 8, 1954 in Highland to Sylvester C. and Lillian A. (Haislar) Marquardt.
She attended Highland schools. She had worked at Chastain’s Nursing Home in Highland, for five years and CLEAN, The Uniform Co. for five years. From April 2005 to 2013, she worked for JNC Maintenance in Belleville, cleaning Basler Electric in Highland. She lived most of her adult life in Pocahontas.

She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, watching her son racing car No. 41 at the Highland Speedway, sewing, and watch soap operas on TV.
She was a former member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Grantfork.
Survivors include a daughter, April S. (Eugene) Kimbro-Clayton of Pocahontas; sons, Aaron J. (Brittanny) Marquardt of Greenville and Robert S. “Bobby” Kimbro of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Sheryl A. (fiancee Tyler Sharp) Kimbro of Jefferson City, Mo., Kyle Lee W. Clayton of Pocahontas, Brianna R. Barton of Greenville, Hannah L.Williams of Greenville, Kaiden L. Marquardt of Greenville and Hunter W. Marquardt of Greenville; brothers, Wilfred A. “Willie” Marquardt of Highland, Walter C. (Barbara) Marquardt of Belleville, Wallace K. “Wally” Marquardt of Highland and William A. “Bill” Marquardt of Highland; sisters, Sandra B. (Steven) Kaufman of Highland, Sharon M. Starko of Highland and Sheila T. (Tony) Winter of Highland; a close family friend, Roger Wiess of Pocahontas; and her former husband, John R. Hamm whom she married in 1997 and divorced 2004.
She was preceded in death by her father, who died on Dec. 7, 1994; her mother, who died on March 7, 1986; a daughter, Sheryl Ann Kimbro, died at age 22 months; a son, Gerald Charles Kimbro, who was stillborn; brothers, Warren S. Marquardt, who died on Feb. 15, 1975, Wayne J. Marquardt, who died on May 20, 1993, and Winston L. “Stoney” Marquardt, who died on May 17, 2002; a sister, Sylvia A. “Sis” Sewell, who died on Aug. 21, 2014; and her first husband, John R. Mosby, whom she married on Sept. 9, 1993, and passed away on Dec. 21, 1994.
