Melissa A. Sterling of has been awarded a 200-hour yoga-teacher certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Mass.
Former Chief Marketing Communications Officer for Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS St. Elizabeth’s), long time O’Fallon resident and past Chamber of Commerce BOD member, Sterling, MA, K-RYT, will begin teaching gentle and moderate level courses, part-time in April through O’Fallon Parks and Recreation.

Kripalu Yoga is a conscious practice of physical yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques for integrating body, mind and spirit. The 200-hour Kripalu Yoga teacher training, which conforms to the national standards of the Yoga Alliance, provides Sterling with a solid foundation in the technical skills needed to teach yoga safely and effectively.
