TOYS FOR TOTS
It's that magical time of year once again and the Marines are conducting the Toys for Tots Campaign on Scott AFB. Toys for Tots collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to help needy families with children between the ages of newborn to 12 years old. If interested in assisting this year, please drop a new unwrapped toy in one of the Toys for Tots donation boxes located at AFNIC, AMC, BX, DISA, SDDC or TRANSCOM. POLE POSITION KART RACING
Come along with the Outdoor Adventure Program Dec. 10 and channel that inner NASCAR racer. Pole Position is an indoor kart racing track with karts reaching up to 45 miles per hour. Adventure is open to all (ages 12+). Adventure fee: $15 (fees include transportation, admission and lunch). Buses will depart Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 3176, at 10 a.m., returning around 4 p.m. Registration required. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. WINERY TOUR AND KRISTKINDL MARKET

CHAPEL CHRISTMAS TREE & MENORAH LIGHTING CEREMONY
Scott AFB Chapel will host a Christmas Tree & Menorah Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 17. The event will include carols and songs to kick-off the holiday season.
The lighting ceremony begins on Chapel grounds followed by a free family-friendly movie, “The Muppet Christmas Carol” (G) at the Library Auditorium.
