Three metro-east men have been charged with gun-related crimes.
• Damion O. Lyons, of East St. Louis, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon and possession of a controlled substance.

• Billy T. Cook, of Cahokia, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a person with a revoked Firearm Owner Identification card.
• Shaun R. Jefferson, of Cottage Hills was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon with a revoked FOID card.
According to St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly, Lyons had several types of firearm ammunition in his residence as well as 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.
Possession of ammunition by a felon is a Class 3 felony while the drug-related charge is a Class 4 felony. Lyons’ bail was set at $50,000.
Cook is accused of possessing a .22 caliber pistol after his FOID card was revoked. The charges is a Class 3 felony. His bail was set at $25,000.
Kelly said Jefferson was in possession of a .38 special revolver while in his vehicle in Belleville. Police said he was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Aggravated unlawful use of a firearm is Class 4 felony. The FOID charge is a Class 3 felony. Jefferson’s bail was set at $20,000.
