Students charged with making terrorist threats toward Illinois high school

Two students at Sangamon Valley High School in Niantic were charged with making terrorist threats toward the school, WAND reported.

A 17-year-old student and a 15-year-old student, both male, were arrested Friday in connection with threats made on a school bus, WAND reported. Both were taken to a juvenile detention center in Peoria and appeared before a judge Tuesday.

The high school's administration said another threat was made by a student Tuesday, WAND reported. The school dealt with that incident, it said in a release.
