An East St. Louis man who allegedly killed two people and left their bodies in a stolen car now faces an additional felony charge.
Tony Townsend, 18, was accused of fatally shooting Isaac Monigan, 19, and Robert Burrow, 20, in June 2015. He was charged in April 2016 with their deaths. Their bodies were found just after midnight June 24, 2015, inside a stolen SUV in East St. Louis.
Townsend, who was only 16 at the time of the shooting, was charged just after Burrow and Monigan's deaths in June 2015 with armed robbery and aggravated vehicular hijacking, in connection with the stolen SUV the bodies were found in. He's being charged as an adult.
An aggravated battery charge was filed Thursday in St. Clair County, accusing Townsend of shooting Dimitri Wilbourn in the leg with a handgun.

All four prior charges were still pending in St. Clair County court as of Thursday.
Townsend was in custody at the St. Clair County Jail on Thursday, as he has been for the past year.
His bail was set at $1.9 million.
