What qualifies you for this position?

“My main qualification to run for District 132 school board is simple: I have children in the system. I have a daughter at Red Bud High and a daughter at Red Bud Elementary. I believe it is extremely important for parents to be involved. I, myself, am a 1984 graduate from RBES, and a 1988 graduate from RBHS. My education, experiences and memories are phenomenal. My drive is to attain the same for every child attending RBES and RBHS. As a school board member, I will be a voice for you and your children.”

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?

“In order to have a productive district, changes need be made from top to bottom. I am starting at the top. Having children attending both RBES and RBHS opens my eyes to primary, middle and high school education. I want your children and my children to have a quality education. This is a reflection of administration, faculty and staff. As you are voting, please keep in mind, the ones who are elected hold your child’s future in their hands. My issue: to give all children the same amazing eduction and wonderful opportunities as I received.”
