Our water is more valuable than oil

Thanks for the Nov. 14 article on the Dakota Access Pipeline (“There’s a reason few even knew...”). It explained this very complex issue very well. Now I hope people will see the downside of these pipelines – they are explosive and can poison drinking water and food crops with a small leak.

The Midwest has valuable water sources, more valuable than oil. The food grown here feeds the entire world. Our future hangs in the balance.
