Football is now a Thanksgiving ritual?

From George Washington through Abraham Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt, we celebrate the day that says a lot about Americans. It reflects our national identity — generous, grateful and inclusive. When the Pilgrims and the Wampanog Indians, they sat for three days to share food and fellowship. Now football has become a part of the rituals of Thanksgiving? Remember hobo day? The always cold Thanksgiving football game?
