We had to fight for our freedom

For much of American history, the balance between governmental authority and individual liberty was understood and accepted. Federal power was confined to that which was specifically enumerated in the Constitution and no more.

That power was further limited, by dispersing it to three federal branches. This frustrated the Socialists every time they tried to change America to their form of government, and have one ruler, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Barack Obama thought they could start us in our destruction mode, FDR with his New Deal, Obama with his pen. They and other socialists forgot that the people still had the same spirit we had to fight for our freedom (Thank God!).
