Good luck with high Waterloo gas prices
Well congratulations, Waterloo, for having the distinction of having the highest gas prices anywhere. Two weeks ago you were $2.29 then went down to $2.18 and today (when this letter was written), July 11, you all went up to $2.39. The people in Belleville are enjoying $2.05, and Millstadt is at $2.18. I work in Waterloo, but I won’t buy my gas there any longer. It’s funny when the media mentions why gas prices are going down you raise your prices. I know you don’t make your money off gas. It’s the merchandise inside, but the gas prices bring people in. Good luck with that.
Tom McNaughton, Millstadt
