A life cut short

I am just sick over the senseless alleged killing of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville student Taylor Clark. I didn’t know him, but from all accounts he seemed like a very decent young man.

This college student had his entire life ahead of him and now it is snuffed out like a candle in the wind. I can understand what the parents, girlfriend, family and friends are going through. I lost my grandson at the age of 24. But it was an accident, not by the hands of someone.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of them. They can celebrate his life by remembering just how special he was and the 19 years they were blessed to have him.
