What about free speech?

In my short span of life, I have learned that free speech is dying or is dead. An example is the shootings in Garland, Texas, over a cartoon contest on Islam’s founder. People are condemning the contest instead of condemning the shooters. Another is an employer because if a person does not offend someone, the person will get more hours and perhaps a promotion.

Is this the United States of America I live in? What occurred to the First Amendment? Is it do as I do and not as I say, or vice versa.

Wake up, America. The youngsters are even getting agitated at this and we have seen what they can perform. Does “Occupy Wall Street” ring a bell to anyone?
