Saluting those who defend us

It is unfortunate that no one has found a way to maintain peace without war.

We are fortunate, though, to have a group of people who are willing to sacrifice their lives so that the rest of us can have a way of life that is Democratic and peaceful. I would like to thank all of our military for standing tall.

Those who fought in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and those military actions that were never called war. Those on military bases keeping the home front safe. The families that make personal sacrifices for the common good.

Let us all salute those people for what they have done and what they continue to do.
