Letters to the Editor

Tricky to back up now

The government is breaking the law by allowing illegal immigration. There is an unwritten rule that if you allow a law to be broken for long enough, that law becomes void. The phrase “nip it in the bud” is appropriate.

The South before the Civil War decided to enforce its right to secede after it allowed the federal government to attain unconstitutional powers. States rights became void.

The illegal immigrants are as a child who was undisciplined all his life and then, when he turns out bad, his parents are mad because he stole from them. By allowing the law to be broken, the government is promoting lawlessness.

It’s too late to send them back; compassion won’t allow it. Let this be a lesson.
