Vote out Democrats

I worked in a steel factory for 20 years. It was union in a right-to-work state. I was a union employee and steward. I worked in management for the company as well.

The unions are not to blame for the financial tsunami that is threatening to destroy our state. The blame lies at the feet of the Chicago Democrooks. They took money from lobbyists for the unions, which has allowed them to maintain power. They made promises that they cannot keep and wrote checks that they cannot fund. They want the taxpayers to step up and bail them out. Rather then bail them out, it’s time to throw them out.

Illinois Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Todd Maisch advocates raising revenue for investment in our Department of Transportation.

He explains that we are seeing the consequences of letting our gas tax revenue stagnate, taking money out of the road fund, and not dealing with increasing decay.

So, as taxpayers, we are to believe that the politicians sent to Springfield will use the increase in taxes for the aforementioned crisis?

I’m not buying it are you?

They play the proverbial shell game with our money — money earmarked for a specific area is moved elsewhere without us having a clue it’s being done until it is too late. Remember the last income tax increase, how did that work out for us?

Show up at the polls and vote out all incumbent Democrats.

Let’s take back our state, one district at a time.
