Inaccuracies about Blagojevich

I have to say that your editorial of June 21 titled, “Wanted: Scout with keen pencil,” made grossly inaccurate accusations regarding my husband.

To insinuate that my husband misappropriated tax dollars for his own benefit is a disgusting misrepresentation of his disagreements with the auditor general. Particularly the accusation that my husband, “used the state’s purchasing system to wine, dine and pay for parking at Bulls’ games,” couldn’t possible be accurate as we have never used state or campaign funds to pay for tickets to sporting events and since, as governor, the state troopers were driving, there wouldn’t even be a need for parking.

You have just perpetuated, once again, a ridiculous lie.

Patricia Blagojevich
