Recently at the Supreme Court, there have been impressive victories for the nation.
Firstly, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) subsidies case in King vs. Burwell: On Thursday, June 25, 2015, the Supremes ruled 6-3 to keep the subsidies intact, thereby rending a victory for those insured relying on subsidies.
Secondly, and more importantly, the marriage equality legalization case in Obergefell vs. Hodges: On Friday, June 26, 2015, the outcome was in favor of Obergefell 5-4, thereby granting the legalization of marriage equality across the nation and celebrations ensued when it was announced.
In short, these are two good rulings made by the highest court in our nation worth applauding.
