Gay marriage licenses

Kim Davis, the Rowan County (Ky.) Clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because of her religious beliefs and was jailed for five days for her defiance, is now free. I have to wonder what her punishment would have been had she been a Muslim. I am quite sure that the judge would have ordered gay couples to go to another county for a license. It seems that Muslims have more rights these days than do Christians. Their religious beliefs supersede those of Christians, it seems. That is what political correctness has done and is doing to America.

Had Kim Davis been an atheist, there would be no problem as atheists have no moral code regarding anything,

When I was in the service in California, homosexuality was considered a mental disorder by law and gays were protected by that law as were all mentally ill persons. I feel now that that view was not far off the mark.

I feel that it is time to clean house on all branches of the federal government to purge political correctness out. Our rights are being destroyed slowly while rights are being given to non-citizens who don’t even belong on our soil. Hopefully, our next president will have a backbone and begin putting sanity back into Washington.
