Letters to the Editor

In response to Ms. Sanchez’s article on the liability of the gun industry, it amazes me how society refuses to take responsibility for their actions and continues to blame inanimate objects for their actions.

When I was younger I was taught that if I broke a window while playing baseball then I had to pay for it. It wasn’t the ball’s fault. I guess — according to Ms. Sanchez — I should sue auto industry the next time I get a speeding ticket or the candy industry if I gain too much weight.

Perhaps if society taught our kids responsibility and values at school and at home, America would be a better place. Guns aren’t the problem — people are the problem.

By the way; if you disagree with me, blame my pen.
