Who is to blame in Flint?

Off with his head, shouts the citizens of Flint, Mich., regarding the recent polluted drinking water crisis. Following Rambo Emanuel’s lead of never letting a good crisis go to waste, the news media are calling for the resignation of Gov. Rick Snyder.

A look at this corrupt rust belt city is quite enlightening. The entire city council are (this may shock you) Democrats, as is the mayor. I couldn’t find out, but I would venture an educated guess that the water commission is also heavily Democratic.

Council member Wantaz Davis served 19 years in prison for murder. Council member Eric Mays pleaded guilty to felonious assault in 1987. Two other council members filed for bankruptcy in federal court, prior to their election. Can you say voter apathy, or “vote for ‘em because they have a “D” beside their name?” Flint Emergency Manger Darnell Early bears lots of responsibility too.

Question: If this river is/was so egregiously polluted, why the EPA hasn’t started its cleanup, like they have in many other locations throughout the nation? General Motors won’t even use Flint river water because it is too corrosive.

But not to worry folks, the “chosen one” will be sending train loads of cash to this cesspool, which will then be distributed to potential Slithery voters for the upcoming presidential election. What amazes me is why wasn’t George Bush blamed for this mess? Barry the miserable must be mellowing in his final year.
