Failure to pass a budget is hurting many in Illinois

This is to tell our legislators and governor that as a citizen, taxpayer and voter I am very concerned that we do not have a budget in the state of Illinois.

This has gone on for quite some time and services for our seniors are being suspended as a result. So many of us depend on these services for our well-being and, while we are no more important than anyone else, we have paid a lot during our lifetimes for these privileges.

From what I understand there are many people who are hurting because of this and we feel that all of you who hold our well-being in your hands need to get your heads together and get this resolved and get a budget passed before more agencies have to close their programs and organizations.

Here is hoping that you will get a budget passed sooner rather than later.
