Detractors overlook Obama’s accomplishments

To President Barack Obama: I have listened to the Republicans try to convince me that you were the most dangerous person on earth. Words like socialist, communist, Muslim, homosexual, atheist, Marxist, Nazi and accused you of everything from staging mass shootings to aiding terrorists in attacking America, and believe me, this is just a short list. What in the world does this kind of talk tell the people in other countries? Do we think they don’t read?

Right now corporate profits are at record highs, the country is adding 200,000 new jobs per month, unemployment is below 5 percent, the dollar is the strongest it’s been in years, gas prices are at record lows, oil imports are gone. So it seems to me this country is in pretty good shape.

Oh, and by the way, my thanks for passing Obamacare after five presidents before you failed, giving millions of Americans the health care that they need, passing the stimulus package, thereby saving this country from going into a depression, saving the American automobile industry from ruins, reforming the big Wall Street banks so they could no longer get rich off the backs of working Americans, ending the war in Iraq and keeping us out of war, saving our young vets lives.

Oh yeah, thanks for taking out bin Laden and toppling Gaddafi, repealing don’t ask don’t tell.
