If the United Nations had a military, the best of every nation that belongs, to start 1/2 million, every nation would contribute men, money, equipment. A group elected by the U.N. would oversee.
Now when a country asked for help, they go in and get it done. No occupation. Never. Otherwise a police force.
If a country like Syria lets their people get killed, the army of U.N. steps in and ends it fast.
Just think, we would not have our men and women killed every time something in the world happened. We could see world peace. The downside is, the U.N. military could turn on us. But then, it may be worth a gamble.
