Airlines should charge by the pound

One thing that is annoying is having to pay extra for overweight luggage, or having to wait behind someone reloading their luggage.

If overweight luggage is such a concern, why not charge extra for overweight people. Seems like they created this problem by what I call “spoon in mouth disease.” Weigh each passenger, and charge accordingly.

It may be incentive to do something about their weight (probably not). At least the plane is still able to fly straight and level, no matter where they are sitting.
