Fairview Heights Area Food Pantry was again blessed with over 2,300 items for the Postal Carriers Food Drive held on May 14. Thank you to each resident who placed items by their mailbox. Our pantry could not continue without your very important donations. Thank you to the drivers who picked up all those items and delivered them to our pantry. We know that this day is important to you and also an added burden to your day. We really appreciate your efforts for your community.
We also wish to thank those volunteers who helped us sort and shelve each item received. You gave of your time on an already busy day! Thanks to everyone for their support. These efforts keep our community strong. Please remember to continue to support your local pantries during the coming year. We are open Monday through Friday from 9-11 a.m.
