If it is a safety issue to have sprinkler systems in college living spaces, how can all these older homes get two years before the sprinkler systems have to be installed? If no concerns for the students, please care about the first responders. The firemen do have a family to go home to.
If the Fireman’s Union and OSHA don’t care for a safety issue, who does? Two years to let them correct this issue, a lot can happen, or is it so they can say if we only knew when a tragedy happens. Well they do know, or is it who you are and who you know? Could it be the cost of the project and the heating and cooling of these older homes just by chance to wait it out until they buy all the homes and tear these down and build dorms.
