As wonderful as our government agencies are, we must never lose sight of one thing: The American people are responsible for their own welfare. There are two major systems of government that are at odds with each other in America today.
Socialism puts government in the driver’s seat, with the responsibility to care for basic needs of all of our citizens from cradle to grave. It is a superb system for those without a great deal of ambition, who simply want to be secure and minimize the risk of adversity in their lives. The other system is capitalism, which places individual responsibility on people for their own lives and personal freedom. It provides a tremendous amount of economic upside for those willing to work hard, take calculated risks and be innovative.
These are the two systems we get to choose from in the next election. Under the government’s thumb with less freedoms, or freedoms we have and a chance to make sure our grandchildren and great grandchildren have a chance at the life we grew up in.
Please choose wisely!
