Writer Joseph Reichert wants you to believe that people of my age are a bunch of illiterate fuddy-duddys.
Reichert is one of those jerks who gets information from the Internet and believes everything. They don’t bother to look at other viewpoints because if it doesn’t agree with their preconceived ideas it must be wrong.
We may drink McDonald’s coffee but I’ll tell you one thing we don’t do — we don’t sit around a tavern all evening with our liberal, boozing buddies in a drunken stupor trying to convince ourselves that Obama is not the worst president ever and that Hillary Clinton is not a felon. Then stagger home convinced that we have solved all the world’s problems.
Just because we are old doesn’t make us idiots. Our life experiences are far more cogent than what some new college graduate acquired from a bunch of pot-smoking, liberal college professors.

Sure, I hate socialism. It takes away incentive, motivation and inspiration. Does Reichert really think government intrusion into every aspect of our lives has made this country better? Since the federal government has gotten into our educational system our place in the world has gone from first to nearly last. We now have more people on food stamps than we have ever had in our history. Why work, The government will support you.
Reichert says socialism cannot be stopped. Horse manure. The Russians who had the ultimate in socialist governments for many years — communism — managed to overthrow it.
