Letters to the Editor

Katie Stuart

I recently received an invitation by mail from Katie Stuart to take an active role in her campaign for state representative. She indicates she is a teacher, wife and a mother, but not a politician. She claims to be tired of the career politicians that only think about themselves.

I would then suggest she should be for term limits. That should put an end to the stranglehold that one party has had for decades in Illinois. Support term limits rather than maligning Dwight Kay, who in fact has been one who has strongly opposed these same career politicians she is “sick and tired of.”

I do not consider this problem to be limited to one party. Total power will in time corrupt any group.

As you may presume, Katie, I am going to vote for Dwight once again.
