ST. LOUIS PIRATES CAMP-TRYOUT -- The St. Louis Pirates are planning an I.D. tryout camp and showcase in July and August. Each player will run a 60-yard dash, take batting practice, have infield or outfield velocity taken and pitchers will throw to catchers for velocity. Fee: $65 per person. JETS BASKETBALL -- The Southwestern Illinois Jets Basketball Club will host a 3-on-3 League for boys and girls in grades 4 through high school beginning Aug. 15 at the Family Sportsplex in Belleville.
