Jhonny Peralta and Matt Holliday got some company Monday.
Shortstop Peralta and left fielder Holliday will be joined by teammates Yadier Molina, Trevor Rosenthal and Michael Wacha at the All-Star Game on July 14 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
Peralta and Holliday were chosen as National League starters in the fan vote Sunday. Catcher Molina, closer Rosenthal and right-handed starter Wacha were named as reserves for the NL squad.
Molina, who began Monday hitting .292 with two home runs and 27 RBIs in 75 games, was selected for the seventh time in his career. He did not play in 2012 (bereavement) or 2014 (injury).
Rosenthal (24 saves, 0.70 ERA) and Wacha (10-3, 2.66 ERA) are first-time selections.
Another Cardinals pitcher, right-hander Carlos Martinez (9-3, 2.70 ERA) will be among five players vying for the final spot on the NL roster.
Martinez will be competing against Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto, New York Mets reliever Jeurys Familia, Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw and Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
Voting can be done online at mlb.com/vote until 3 p.m. Friday.
