Liverpool head into their final Premier League game of the season knowing Champions League qualification is still within reach, but not fully secured yet. A draw against Brentford will be enough to get the job done, and even a defeat may not be enough to knock them out of the top 5 unless results and goal difference swing heavily elsewhere.

The Reds missed the chance to wrap things up last time out after a heavy defeat to Aston Villa, but the situation remains in their hands heading into Anfield.

Brentford arrive with their own motivation. European football is still on the line for them, and a win or draw could be enough to secure a first-ever qualification for UEFA competition depending on results elsewhere.

It also carries emotion at Anfield. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson are both set for what could be their final appearances for Liverpool, and will want to sign off with a strong result in front of the home fans.
