Final Injury Report for Mercury-Dream: Monique Akoa Makani, Brionna Jones Play?
The Phoenix Mercury are on the road on Sunday afternoon as they travel to take on the Atlanta Dream in an interconference matchup.
Phoenix enters Sunday's game with a 2-4 record after losing at home to the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.
In Thursday's loss to the Sparks, Alyssa Thomas led the way for the Mercury as she recorded 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Kahleah Copper added 22 points and five rebounds of her own.
Now Phoenix will try to bounce back on Sunday as they face off against the Dream in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Atlanta enters Sunday's contest with a 3-1 record after defeating the Dallas Wings at home on Friday night.
Rhyne Howard led the way for the Dream in Friday's victory as she ended the game with 25 points, four rebounds, eight assists and four steals while Angel Reese recorded 15 points and nine rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon's matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Mercury Injury Report: Will Monique Akoa Makani Play?
For the Mercury, they have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Monique Akoa Makani.
Phoenix has listed Akoa Makani as questionable due to reconditioning and there is a chance she could make her season debut on Sunday after missing the beginning of the year due to an overseas obligation.

On the other side, the Dream have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Brionna Jones.
Atlanta has ruled out Jones as she remains sidelined while recovering from right knee surgery that she underwent in the offseason.
