The Collinsville Kahoks beat the Granite City Warriors 11-8 in a home high school baseball game Tuesday.
The Kahoks were led by Jared Brooke, who went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, and Devon Bovinett, who went 1 for 4 with a home run.
Both Collinsville and Granite City managed 10 hits.
Ryan Siverly was the winning pitcher for Collinsville, allowing 11 hits, eight runs, and striking out six batters in six innings.
Andy Halley took the loss for the Warriors. Sophomore Austin Bonvicino went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Fellow sophomore Cameron Hibbits finished 2 for 3 at the plate.
Collinsville (10-18) next plays at Belleville West at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Granite City (7-18) is at home against O’Fallon at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
