The Collinsville girls soccer team finished off its regular season with a 7-1 victory over host Belleville East on Thursday.
The Kahoks (14-6-1, 6-0) have won seven consecutive SWC championships and are 38-3-1 in the league during that period.
“That’s pretty impressive in a conference as talented as ours,” Collinsville coach Clay Smith said. “It credits the hard work of these girls we’ve had for the last seven years. They’re a hard-working bunch of girls, they execute well and they’re a great group to be around.”
Emily Holten and Courtney Marten had two goals apiece for Collinsville, which led 2-0 at halftime. Andrea Frerker, Destiny Johnson and Kaylee McSpadden had one goal apiece.
