Alton Marquette boys stay perfect with win over Roxana

Alton Marquette continued its pursuit of a perfect season in dominant fashion Friday with a 79-25 victory over Roxana.

Isaiah Ervin was the team’s highest scorer, tying his season-high of 22 points in the Explorers’ win. Jake Hall pitched in with 14 points.

Marquette denied Roxana any points in the third quarter.

Alton Marquette (26-0) only has two more games left in the regular season and will play Central on Tuesday. Roxana (4-22) will play Vandalia on Tuesday.
