Jerry Watson rushed for 278 yards on 34 carries for Granite City, but the Warriors fell to Collinsville, 49-26, in Southwestern Conference play Friday.
It was the first win of the season for Collinsville, who this week learned its petition to seek a different conference affliation for football was granted by Southwestern Conference school administrators.
Granite City racked up 476 yards of total offense, sparked by Watson. Quarterback Austin Bonvicino contributed 81 yards rushing on 11 carries, and 106 yards passing.
After starting the season 2-0, the Warriors have now dropped four game in a row. They next travel to East St. Louis Friday.
Collinsville, 1-5, will be at Belleville East.
